If You Can't Sell Your Art, You Probably Do Not Know Its or Your Value. (based on my personal ex

There is nothing like being a performing artist who needs to learn how to sell. All of a sudden you realize that all you have is your ability to describe and present your art and skills in a way that people would pay money for and keep coming back to you for more. You make people see the value of what you have and let them want it. As an actor, you sell your character to a casting director. As a dancer, you sell your movement to a choreographer. As a teacher, you sell your knowledge to your students. We all sell something. The only difference is why we choose to sell that specific product. What is our motivation behind that sale. This motivation is the true value of your product. Once you clarify that motivation, the price will not really matter and the deal will be smoother to close. Never forget that at the end of the day, it is all about your integrity and the relationship that you have built with your buyer. The motivation is the bridge through which you establish that connection with your consumer. Be honest and be proud of what you have to offer.
